Stargaze Stargaze NFT migration to Cosmos Hub
Stargaze's NFT migration plan assigns selected Phase 1 collections to automatic migration. Other collections need holder claims or creator activation before trading on Cosmos Hub. Collections bridged via ICS721 require separate coordination and may have another destination.
Selected collections: Automatic migration
The Auto-migration List identifies this group. Holders do not need to claim these NFTs. Blockspace limits mean the team processes the migration in batches.
Unlisted collections: Claims or creator activation
After Phase 1, collections outside the list can appear in a profile without being tradeable yet. Holder claims bring their NFTs on-chain on Cosmos Hub for a small gas fee. Creators can alternatively activate entire collections through Stargaze Studio.
ICS721-bridged collections
For these cross-chain NFT collections, the destination is their home chain or a different chain based on the creator's preference. This route requires additional coordination.
Check whether a claim applies
- Look up the collection in the Auto-migration List using its name, contract address, or creator.
- For unlisted NFTs, check activation status; profile visibility alone does not establish trading readiness.
- For ICS721-bridged NFTs, confirm the creator's chosen destination before following Cosmos Hub claim instructions.
